As part of the WYDE Political Parties project, a two-day workshop titled “Amplifying Young People in Parliament: Capacity Building for Young Legislators” will be held on August 4–5, 2025, in Nairobi, Kenya, as a fringe event of RenewPAC. The event brought together young members of parliament from across the country to equip them with the tools, knowledge and peer connections needed to succeed in their legislative roles.

Sessions covered practical aspects of parliamentary procedures, coalition building, policy development, media engagement, and constituency outreach. Participants also engaged in roundtable dialogues and a live simulation of a parliamentary motion, offering a dynamic and participatory learning experience.

This initiative is part of WYDE’s broader commitment to strengthen inclusive political leadership by supporting young elected officials in delivering democratic change.
