Call for Consultancy | Mid-Term Evaluation of the WYDE Political Parties Project
ENoP is seeking an external evaluator to assess progress and impact of the EU-funded WYDE Political Parties initiative
The European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP) is launching a call for consultancy to conduct the mid-term external evaluation of the WYDE Political Parties project.
Funded by the European Union, WYDE Political Parties aims to strengthen inclusive democratic participation by increasing the meaningful engagement of women and youth in political parties and decision-making processes across six African countries: Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania .
As the project reaches its mid-point, this evaluation will play a key role in assessing progress, identifying challenges, and informing the next phase of implementation.
Scope of the Evaluation
The selected evaluator will carry out an independent assessment of the project, covering:
- Progress against planned objectives and results
- Relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of the action
- Early signs of impact and long-term sustainability
- Key challenges, risks and lessons learned
The evaluation will be conducted in line with internationally recognised standards, including the OECD-DAC evaluation criteria and EU principles.
Key Responsibilities
The evaluator will be responsible for:
- Reviewing project documentation and monitoring frameworks
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- Engaging with stakeholders, partners and beneficiaries
- Delivering a comprehensive evaluation report with actionable recommendations
Who Should Apply
We are looking for experienced professionals with:
- Proven experience in evaluating EU-funded or democracy support projects
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Expertise in political party development, governance, and participation
- Experience working on gender equality and youth engagement
Experience in Sub-Saharan Africa will be considered an asset.
