Call for Applications – Consultant for Comparative Study on Political Party Regulation in Africa

↩ Back to WYDE
The WYDE Political Parties Project is looking for an experienced consultant to lead a comparative study on political party regulation with a specific focus on gender inclusion in Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Malawi.
This assignment will support the collaboration between national political party regulatory bodies (ORPPs) in the three countries, helping identify shared practices, legal gaps, and policy opportunities to enhance youth and women’s participation in political life. The study will also serve as a foundational document for the creation of the Africa Association of Political Parties Regulatory Authorities (AAPPRA).
The consultant will carry out desk research, conduct stakeholder interviews, facilitate the first inter-country meeting of the ORPPs, and deliver an actionable set of policy recommendations.
