Current EU-politics Through Green MEP Lenses

ENoP member Visio, Finland organised a series of thematic trainings with Finnish Green Memebers of European Parliament between 22 September 2022 and 30 January 2023.  The trainings covered the following topics: Feminist Foreign Policy, Biodiversity and Trade Policy, each consisting of two sessions hosted by the respective MEP, featuring a variety of experts as guest speakers.

EU & Feminist Foreign Policy with MEP Alviina Alametsä

MEP Alviina Alametsä is in the Committee of Foreign Affairs and the Subcommittee on Security and Defence. In this course, she uses her expertise on the foreign policy in order for her and her guests to perspectives on how feminist understanding can influence the Foreign policy of EU.

EU & Biodiversity with MEP Ville Niinistö

MEP Ville Niinistö is in the European Parliament's Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety as well as in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. The training focuses on the national perspectives of these topics and the main target audience is the Finnish audience; how does EU support and guide the national measures on nature protection.
