143 IPU Assembly
The 143rd IPU Assembly took place in Madrid, Spain from the 26th to the 30th of November. This was the first in-person IPU Assembly since 2019. The event brought together hundreds of MPs from 117 countries, including 44 speakers of parliament. The theme of the General Debate of the 143rd IPU Assembly was “Contemporary challenges to democracy. Overcoming division and building community”.
ENoP was represented by Denis Schrey, ENoP Network Coordinator, who participated in the event as an observer, following the Forum of Women Parliamentarians and Forum of Young Parliamentarians.
