On 24 January the conference Youth Shaping Democracy took place in the Hague. The event was co-organised by Eduardo Frei Foundation, D66 International and Bureau de Helling of Green Left party.

It consisted of two roundtables, Supporting youth building democracy which focused on the experience of trainers working with political foundations and Youth talking, with youth speakers sharing why, what and how they are engaging in politics.

This event allowed the Dutch members of ENoP to present their work to an audience of members of international civil society organisations, to members of the ministry of foreign affairs and to the youth members of the political parties. Also it allowed for an exchange of experiences among the members of the political foundations themselves.
